He llegado

I have officially arrived in Puebla. Yesterday I flew into Mexico City and had a great drive to Puebla. It took about two hours, but was super beautiful. We drove through the city and finally drove up a cobblestone street called calle de loma chica and arrived at an orange and bright blue house with two stories, rose bushes, and a tiny backyard. My new home! My companion, Kerry "Kizzy" Johnson, along with Crystal Meservy and Lindsay Eccles who are going to Vera Cruz, are all staying in the house this week while we are trained and oriented. We went to the shopping center where we bought the necessities, and then went out for pizza (I know it´s not very Mexican, but we were really hungry, and there was a two for one special). We were quite a site as we ran home, arms full of groceries, laughing hysterically. Apparently we looked like we needed some help, because some well-meaning muchachos leaned out the windows of the buss and shouted out directions for how to cross the street. We were very appreciative. :)
