Lots of Love

The last couple weeks have flown by, and we have been plenty busy. We took another trip to Mexico City- this time we went to the Anthropology Museum, to a "Reik" concert (Mexican pop- one of our favorites), and (best of all) to the Mexico City temple. Back in Puebla, we decided to make our own fun, and throw a Halloween p

The last few days we have been working hard, and trying to study a lot. Kizzy came down with an intestinal infection, but we got through appendicitis, so I'm sure we'll pull through this one too. Yesterday I taught the workshop twice- once by meself, and the second time with María José, our friend who we have been training to teach the workshop. We hoped that by today Kizzy would be better, but it looks like the medicine is going to take its time to take effect.
Things are great though, and I wouldn't change the experiences I am having for the world! We have had some neat experiences being able to be positive influences on our friends. One in particular is a returned missionary, but hasn't been to church in over a year. He works on Sundays, but it seems to have become more of an excuse than anything. After some really good conversations with him, he showed up to the CES fireside last Sunday. I think that's a big start. And that is just one of the many experiences we have had with our friends. I really feel like we're here for a reason, and that maybe it doesn't have as much to do with the workshop as we thought. Anyway, life is good, and I'm counting my blessings.
